This workshop is a joint project shared by the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recondition of Science and Technology) Robotics teams Saline Singularity (Team #5066) and the Strange Quarks (Team #6101). What we do at this event is some fun STEM based activities that help participants understand some of the basics of STEM. For example, one of the activities we have repeated since the start is the famous Egg Drop experiment in which participants go through the critical processes of designing and testing in order to keep their egg safe. Furthermore, we also show them how the skills that they learn are used on a bigger scale, and they will even get to drive around our competition robots.
